The Peotone Blue Demons are saddened by the loss of Dolly Alexa last week.
Dolly is the mother of JV player Ben Alexa and Coach Frank Alexa's ex-wife.
Ben has a sister Kelly Alexa as well.
Dolly Alexa's Memorial will be held on Tuesday, August 19th at Wolniak Funeral Home

Scrimmage Games Set!

When: Wednesday, August 13, 2008 & Thursday, August 28, 2008

Time: 6:00pm
          Players should be there at 5:30pm to warm-up

Where: Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Frankfort Square
             Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Peotone practice fields

Practice Starts Monday, 7/28 at 6pm at the PJHS football fields!

Here are a few things you need to know:
• Make sure your players bring plenty of water to drink.
• If your child is asthmatic please remind them to bring their inhalers and remind the coaches!
• Coaches will be having their parent meetings so be sure not to miss it. They will be handing out schedules for the season.
• Equipment handout will be on Wednesday 7/30 and Thursday 7/31. Parents must sign for their child’s equipment, or the player will not receive their equipment.
• Look for the volunteer sign ups soon. There will be plenty of opportunities to work your volunteer hours with concessions, homecoming and working the fields during games.
• Please be prompt when dropping off and picking up your children. Our coaches will not give rides to any players.
• Player weigh-ins for the Metro League will be on September 3rd or 4th. Keep these dates available. All players must weigh in to be eligible to play!
