History
Peotone Youth Football and Cheerleading Program
Peotone Youth Football and Cheerleading Program was founded in early 2006 by parents and members in the community that wanted to establish a quality feeder program for the Peotone High School Football Program. The team name is known as the “Peotone Blue Demons.” As stated above, these founding members wanted to encourage good sportsmanship while teaching the fundamentals of football and cheerleading. Our team is a not for profit organization. No individual group or its members profit from any purchase made by this program without Board approval.
In our inaugural year, the Peotone Blue Demons registered 100 football players and 60 cheerleaders. In 2007, we were very pleased to add flag football and cheerleading to our program. The Peotone Blue Demons also hold a variety of activities such as:
- Homecoming Dance
- Participation in the PHS homecoming parade
- Host site for the NFL/Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick competition.
